Carry out actions to improve the basic ability of industrial measurement, implement the industrial strong foundation measurement support plan, and give full play to the technical support and guarantee role of measurement in basic components (components), basic materials and basic processes. To study and establish a national basic database of industrial measurement, and strengthen the collection, management and application of metrological verification, calibration, test and detection data in the field of industrial manufacturing.

Study the measurement and testing technology of intelligent infrastructure, and form a common artificial intelligence measurement system framework, interface, method and standard specification in various fields. Carry out research on key measurement and testing technologies such as mechanical system, control system and drive system of industrial robots to improve the overall measurement performance of intelligent industrial control system. Establish intelligent level evaluation standards and measurement and testing platforms suitable for intelligent manufacturing, intelligent transportation, intelligent security and other fields, and enhance the measurement and testing capabilities driven by data and knowledge collaboration.

Strengthen the linkage between measurement and modern digital technology, network technology and industrial digital scientific research and production platform.
